A Worlding WebFor the March issue of BLOG by LAN Party, we asked elle (@riotgoools) to create the cover, as worldbuilding and the idea of making websites as a personalised space are central to her practice. elle is always crafting her own incredible, ever-evolving homepage and carving out quiet, safe spaces away from the noise of the web. We hope this cover and her website can be an example and inspiration to all who would like to make their own corners of the web.Feb 28, 2025
Technostalgia Survival PackJanuary 2025's issue is a packed resource list of books, exhibitions, articles and essays, newsletters, and more that informed much of LAN Party's research in 2024. We hope it will be a useful toolkit for you, too, to navigate life with technology in the year to come. For this month's cover, Saeko invites us into her workspace, depicted through her distinctive kira-kira (sparkling), celebratory style to ring in the new year.Jan 30, 2025
The Retro Tech Gift Guide 2024For the December 2024 BLOG by LAN Party issue, we created the ultimate Retro Tech gift guide for all the technostalgics out there. 🎄 Artist Kikillo graces the cover, presenting one of their signature glitched anime characters, along with a holiday twist, capturing their playful take on digital chaos.Dec 10, 2024
Notes on Curating on the Internet by reelaestheteFor the November 2024 issue of BLOG by LAN Party, reelaesthete contributed an artwork that echoes the topic of curating on the web. The cover image, which is a segment of the artist’s most recent project, SURFACING, presents just a corner of a much larger, vast digital third space. Pieces therefore appear missing, disjoined, floating in different planes, raising the question of what can be found in our immediate surroundings, and under the surface.Nov 21, 2024
Birthday Party by p1xelfoolTo celebrate the 1 year anniversary of LAN Party and the launch of our Hypersub, artist p1xelfool co-created our first issue's poster, which is airdropped exclusively to our paid Hypersub subscribers. For the poster of this month, p1xelfool hosts a party, a dance of flashing, geometric spheres that float and rotate across the screen as if we were looking out from the interior of a disco ball. The artist created this piece for LAN Party’s 1st anniversary, a celebration of pixels for our birthday!Nov 04, 2024
