The We Are The Art project, explores a profound idea - that it is the community of collectors that makes onchain art unique. And that simple idea which is at the heart of onchain culture, is something that has the power to change the world.

Over the next few years, we will build a collection of work together, starting with universal CC0 images, that reveal the possibility of collective onchain creativity.

Each month we will create a new artwork made from the names of everyone who collects it. As a member of the community you will be airdropped 2 spare tokens that you can gift to friends, making them part of the work.

As a community we will decide what piece we make next (directed by ChrisCoCreated as the lead artist).

At its core, the project turns the traditional idea of art on its head — radically accessible with the upside shared by all that participate.

Over time, we will build a collection and a community that is a living symbol of the potential of onchain culture.
