Sonata is the home for music on Farcaster.

It's powered by our native token - NOTES - which is used to curate songs shared on the site.

Sonata aggregates all Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud and Sound links shared on Farcaster.

We populate them in a curated list of music channels which can be sorted by people you follow, what's trending or what's been posted recently.

By subscribing to Sonata Pro - you will receive:

• Pro Badge next to your username.
• The ability to post music directly on Sonata
• A base daily allowance of 10,000 NOTES
• A tip multiplier for subscriptions of more than 3 months.

How it Works

For 0.001 ETH per month, you will receive a daily allowance of 10,000 NOTES - used to tip and upvote or downvote songs on Sonata.

A multiplier will be assessed to your daily allowance as follows:

• 1 month = No Multiplier
• 2 months = No Multiplier
• 3 months = 1.1x
• 4 months = 1.2x
• 5 months = 1.3x
• 6 months = 1.4x
• 7 months = 1.5x
• 8 months = 1.6x
• 9 months = 1.7x
• 10 months = 1.8x
• 11 months = 1.9x
• 12+ months = 2x

These changes are estimated to take ~24 hours to kick in from the time of subscription.

Sonata reserves the right to adjust the base allowance and multipler as we see fit.
